WHY I CREATED MONARCH ACADEMY

I didn't start in property. I started stacking shelves at Homebase at 16. At 18 I was on the door of a nightclub. At 19 I moved into corporate marketing and sales and at 21, I stepped away from all of it and chased a shot at the NFL.

But by 23, I had to be honest with myself: I wasn't good enough to make it, so back to a desk in corporate life I went, wondering if this was just how my career was going to go.

Then, at 29, a chance conversation with a property developer changed the direction of my life.

No connections, no capital behind me, no property background. Just a decade of jobs that had nothing to do with bricks and mortar and a decision to start anyway.

I tell you that because if you're reading this wondering whether you've got the right background to get into property, you don't need one.

I didn't.

What I've learnt after more than a decade in this industry is that the questions don't change much, no matter where someone's starting from.

Over the years, some of the most common questions I've been asked are:

“Where should I start?”

“How do I know if a deal stacks up?”

“What's the best way to raise finance?”

“How much capital do I actually need?”

“How do I avoid expensive mistakes?”

Through my consultancy and private mentoring services, I've had the opportunity to work closely with investors, developers and property entrepreneurs at various stages of their journey.

While those one-to-one relationships have been incredibly rewarding, I've often found myself answering the same questions and helping people solve many of the same challenges.

Rather than limiting that knowledge to a small number of private clients, I created Monarch Academy.

A place where ambitious property entrepreneurs can access the same systems, frameworks and lessons I've developed through more than a decade in property investment, development, land acquisition and strategic consultancy.

This isn't a corporate training platform, a heavily marketed online course or an education program run by a sales team.

I built this Academy myself. Every module, every video, every template, because I genuinely enjoy helping people succeed in property.
